Looking at wall tapestries for inspiration, this work was made to compare and contrast my personal experience with religion in both the north and south eastern United States in relation to the religious traditions in my family. Because of the light in the space and the ability of the viewer to observe the work from all angles, the images on each side inform the ‘read’ of the images on the opposite side, speaking to the importance and influence of each environment upon the other.
